Localization Flow

Elegan has shaped an effective project management and quality control flow. In implementing each project we will specially harmonize the specific quality requirement of the industry to assure satisfying translations. By considering the language, technology and other cultural factors of source/target language projects as well as the specific need of customers, we will select competent project managers, translators, proofreaders and industrial technical advisors to constitute the project group to successfully submit translated projects to customers designated.

>> Preparing

On receipt of translation projects from customers, project mangers, translators, proofreader and industrial technical advisors set about doing below:

• Verifying the project to ensure right understanding of customers

• Checking the quantity of supporting resources and preparing testing and training documentations

• Training competent translators in product knowledge, tools, glossary and style guide

• Generating technical environment

• Generating glossary database for customers

• Checking project management flow and its specification

• Submitting issues to customers for verification

>> Translating

• Quality inspection is important in the translation, so that project management group will periodically value each group member and establish the improvement plans

• Strictly keeping to translation guide/style guide/specification designated by customers or the company (if customers fail to offer)

• Proofreading according to the check list provided by customers or the company (if customers fail to offer)

• Exchanging issues with customers through standard approaches

• Amending the translation according to editor and customer manager’s proposals

>> Submitting

• Submitting the translation to customers after amending the language, glossary and format

• Compiling the check list provided by customers or the company (if customers fail to offer) to finally proofread language and glossary

• Checking final format or DTP according to guide introduction/style guide/specification provided by customers or the company (if customers fail to offer)

• Revising related to feedback of customer testing
